These canisters are so interesting and unique. They depict a tavern scene and possibly two witches on brooms. The scenes are very ornate and detailed, and all three of the canisters have the same scenes on them.

There is some wear. I took quite a few pictures to show the condition. There are no cracks and no damage to the scenes on the canisters, but there are some chips on the lid rims and on the top of the finial on two of the lids.

Note: There is quite a bit of chipping along the bottom edge of these canisters. The middle size canister has what looks like the same chipping as the other two, but it is uniform and consistently that same all the way around the bottom. This makes me wonder if it was left that way intentionally. It’s a little odd that it’s like that all the way around the canister, whereas you can definitely tell it’s chipping on the other two.

In my opinion this chipping along the bottom does not really detract from the esthetic of these amazing canisters.

These canisters need to be cleaned. I have cleaned them as best as I can, but there is still some dirt in the crevices of the patterns on the canisters. They are acceptable now as they are, but additional cleaning may be warranted.
