Fedoskino, also known as the “Федоскинская миниатюра” (RUS), is the oldest traditional Russian lacquer miniature painting center, which has been famous since the 18th century. Unlike other villages, its unique style of painting on papier-mache is distinct, with artists applying oil paints in multiple layers.ar different than the other villages as the artists use oil paints applied in many layers.
