( 227 years old) piece of wood is sealed and comes with a certification from the USS Constitution museum. In 1973 the Battleship had a overhaul and was closed for two years and they sold the wood from the ship. Old Ironsides was launched in 1797 and was in the battle of 1812. 227 years old.
