This is a vintage 1970’s handmade Tonala pottery cat sculpture from Mexico. The burnished clay gives it a unique texture and appearance. It is a representation of Mexican culture and would make a great addition to any collection of Latin American art.
This piece has some flaws and a superficial crack on the bottom. It’s still sound and doesn’t effect the piece. It’s 15x7 inches and over 5 pounds.
