I purchased this at an estate sale a week ago It seems to keep time, I wound it round once to see if it works.It is an easy short wind.Today I did the full wind and I did touch the mechanism lighty to get it moving on my 2nd wind today.The Dome is Clear durable plastic, I thought at first it was glass due to the clarity.I do not see any cracks or scratchers.I do not know if this is the original dome or an replacement.It was kept in a bedroom on her vanity.This wind up small Lovely Clock would look sweet on your desk or any where.
