Vintage TEXTILE ROVING CAN - Decorator, FISHING RODS, Umbrella, TRASH 36\"x12

Theses textile tubes \"Roving Cans\" make ideal decorator piecesto the likes of trash cans that fit comfortably behind a door or any area short on space. As well as trash cans they are great for storing Umbrellas, Fishing Rods, Clubs, Trash, Archery, Canes, Yard Tools, Sports Equipment or many other itemsin your shed or garage.Also forthe ultimate man cave, sports room or hunting lodge, most of these cans resemble a red or green shotgun shell, it even has the wide band on the bottom like the brass end of the shell. The uses are endless, and only limited by your imagination!

These cans are made of very heavy hardy board with metal rings on the top and bottom and are painted. These cans were picked from an old textile mill in Pennsylvania and some are stamped with cool local mill labels. They stand 36 inches tall withsome being 10 inch, and othersbeing 12 inch in diameter. This can is 12\" in diameter.\"Roving cans\" were used in the fiber carding process for nearly 200 years. These cans run from 1900 to the 1930\'s and were most recently used for cloth roll storage in a textile mill.You are purchasing the single one from the pictures. This can/tubethat your are purchasing measures, 36\" x 12\" in diameter, ismade of painted hardboard,almost looks and feels like leather.Has a metal ring on the top and bottom. Has a small logo on the top, and some splash marks on the paint on the back side (See Photos)

MdArchitectural Rescue is a different type of recycling company. We have operated in Baltimore and surrounding areas since 1996. After starting out rescuing fireplace mantles and cast iron door locks from construction dumpsters, we have opened our eyes to may types of waste that are often over looked and fall through the cracks. Our focus is and always will be vintage items of the highest quality. But with our eyes now open we put a lot of effort in bringing you high end collectibles from every industry available and at a very reasonable price. All our items are salvaged and are for the most part American Made. One week we could be in an old School, Brewery, Factory, and the following weekat a Shipyard or Power plant, you just never know. Also, one day we may be removing Vintage lighting, the next day Signs and Vintage blueprints and the following day cleaning out a machine shop or high end parts room. We literally have NO idea what we have coming around corner, so make sure you add us to your favorites and check back often.
