Vintage Swift Sport King Binoculars 7x35mm Model 704 W/ Carrying Case -Needs TLC:
$49.87

Up for sale is a pair of Vintage Swift Sport King 7x35mm Model 704 Binoculars. They come with the original black carrying case. These are in used condition but seem to be functioning well.

Both the binoculars and carrying case have been very well used and could use some cosmetic TLC. I'm able to see the magnification through the lenses and make adjustments to the focus and the binocular width without issues.

I would rate the overall condition as functionally working well but cosmetically poor with several small/medium defects. One of the inside prisms (not the outside lenses) looks to have a small crack. The crack appears to be on one of the inside prisms and not on the outside lenses. It starts on the outside of the prism and goes towards the middle but is only about 1/6th of the prism diameter.

Looking through the objective end of the binoculars I do see some small black specks only on one side though. There's maybe between like 5 and 10 small specks. It doesn't look like fungus to me and may be paint speckles though I cannot confirm either way.

Also, I don't really know how to explain this super well, but in that same lense when looking through the objective side, I do see this like black piece of plastic kind of hanging out in the middle. It's almost as if it was part of the inside wall that got detached. I don't see it though when looking through subjective side of the binoculars.

There is one small little part of the black plastic that has broken off of the front of the binoculars but could be glued back on or replaced. I have added a photo for reference. The little piece of plastic says "Japan" on it.

I do see a number on the binoculars that says J-B56. It's really close to where that piece of plastic sits. So maybe that is the serial number.

This could be a good pair of binoculars for a collector or someone willing to clean them up and do some TLC.

The sale of these binoculars does not include any lens caps or any of the original packaging.

Please refer to all photos for condition before purchase. Let me know if you have any questions!
