Vintage Stewart R. Browne Tuffite Electric Military Safety Flashlight WORKS: $34.99
This is my Dad's old flashlight from when he was in the Marines in Korea. On the end it says: "Tuffite" and "Stewart R. Browne Mfg Co., NYC pat pend" It's 8 inches long and still works! The brown/bronze metal piece says: "Permissible Electric Flashlight United States Bureau of Mines Approval 606 Approved for Safety In Methane and Mixtures Issued to The Stewart R. Browne Mfg Co Inc New York NY Class 1 Group D Model F-81 Safety Flashlight"And "UL" is also stamped in a circle. It has a metal clip on it and the bottom and top come off. This will be shipped without batteries, well-wrapped in a box, due to its age and value.
