Vintage Stainless Steel Clam Shell Dish with Sil. Plt. Spoon and Glass Liner:

This 5x5 inch hinged silver plate clamshell butter or caviar dish comes with a white glass insert and silver plate serving spoon. The spoon is not original to the dish, but was with it when I purchased it. A small butter knife could be substituted depending on the intended use. There is some wear to the silverplate underneath the glass insert from friction over the years, but otherwise it is in lovely condition. There are no chips or cracks to the glass.
