The reverse side has large national emblem of RSFSR

(Russian Soviet federative socialist republic). Beautifully embroidered and silk of six different colors the inscription at the bottom identifies the state authorities that jointly bestowed the banner: Proletarsk District Committee, and district committee of VLKSM (All-Union Lenin communist youth league)

This is a very presentable and fairly uncommon piece, unlike many other such prize flags that were "transferrable" - i.e. passed from one foremost factory ,farm or labor team to another based on most recent results it was only issued once and then retained by the enterprise as a permanent trophy, the reference to the ninth five-year plan makes it certain that it was issued within a narrow timeframe from late 1975 through mid 1976.

As a historical side-note, the Proletarsky RPK was located in the town Proletarsky of the Rostov-on-Don region, Southern Russia. During the Soviet era it produced a wide variety of food products including packaged meats and vegetables in the early half of the 1990s, soon after the break up of the Soviet Union, it was privatized like most other small state owned enterprises. In the last decade of its existence it apparently downsized and concentrated on production of vegetable oil and butter before it went out of business in 2018.
