Vintage Snow & Nealley 2 1/2 Lb. Boys Ax Head in clean condition. It measures 6 1/2\" wide, has a 4\" edge, and weighs 2 Lbs. 11.2 Oz. The edge is clean but has a small nick out of the very top, see pics. It\'s rust free but does have some pitting corrosion. The \'Snow & Nealley Co. Bangor Maine\' stamping has worn off, but I\'m nearly 100% certain this is a S & N, especially after talking with a local \'expert\'. They made early iron woodsman\'s tools out of Bangor, Maine back in the late 1800\'s/early 1900\'s. Center eye for handle measures 2 3/8\" x 7/8\". Add a handle to this and you\'ll have a real beauty for Life!
