Vintage Silvertone 6 Transistor AM Radio #2206 Gold Small Pocket Size HTF Works For Sale

Selling for a collector who is downsizing his collection:

A vintage Silvertone 6 Transistor Radio - Model # 2206 - Hard to find
Made in the United States. circa 1962. Sold by Sears Roebuck Co.
The outer plastic case is gold in color. It has a black woven (mesh) grill front and a thumb wheel knob on each side for tuning and on/off and volume.
Batteries are not included.
It's tiny - pocket size / handheld - Approximate measurements of radio: 2 3/8 inches across x 3 1/4 inches high x 1 inch deep.
This radio works and has original parts. Cosmetically, the case is in fairly good vintage condition. It has a small chip and some discoloration at the bottom and also shows minor wear that is consistent with age and use, including faint scratches and rub marks. The black mesh grill has a few places of discoloration as well. Please see photos.
