Shabby chic Statue of Liberty cast metal art piece with embellishment.19\" tall, 11\" wide and about 1.5\" deep perhaps more what with the metal pieces.
Collected at a Birmingham, Alabama flea market in 1982.Really a beautiful, unusual, weird piece - condition as photographedThe gold rim is cast or hammered, perhaps aluminum. The Statue of Liberty is cast and (painted?) gold - certainly heavy with a large cast eagle at top. There\'s a furled flag, moss along the bottom and letters in a woven fabric, all mounted on a fabric backing that shows discoloration of age or perhaps some is color was as intended. The back is metal too, with metal pins to keep it all intact. I just have loved it all these years.Stored in a smoke-free, animal-free environment. Secure pack and quick ship.
