This is a Vintage Set Of Art Deco Retro MCM Whippet Saluki Greyhound Ceramic Dog Figurines. ***Made in Thailand and appear to be the same style as ones by Andrea by Sadek*** ***No provenance except the Made in Thailand sticker*** Sadek was produced in Japan and Thailand!!! The Whippet Saluki dog statue feature the ceramic dogs perched atop a gold tufted platform. These ivory colored dogs have a light blue collar rimmed in gold. Use these dog figurines as bookend or decorative display accent on a bookshelf or table top. The bottoms are covered with protective felt and under the felt there is a removable plastic cap. This is for putting small pebbles or sand for weighing the figurine for extra stability, if you choose. They have never been filled. They would make a great addition to your home decor.
