This issue features the improved shot pouch sling, Postal detective service, the underground railway in New York City, road and farm locomotives, steam road rollers, and much more. The publication does have stains through out the supplement, the cover is detached from the issue, and there is evidence of age with wear and tear. Despite its blemishes, the lithographs in this publication are beautiful and the articles give true insight to what it was like in the scientific world during this time.
