This vintage Sankyo Japan music box features a dancing bird inside a cage, which moves to the music of a windup mechanical music player with shut off switch. It has been well-maintained and is in good working order. The brand Sankyo is known for their high-quality music boxes, and this one is no exception. It was manufactured in Japan during the time period of 1946-1969, and is a great addition to any collection of decorative collectibles. The cage is beautifully designed and adds a touch of elegance to any room. Overall good condition has some patina on some of the metal light scratches on certain parts of the the lucite box. Nothing that impedes functionality of the piece. Music box winds and functions perfectly. The bird is in great condition for the age looks to have all of his feathers still and the mechanical functioning is great. Please see pictures for details.
