Vintage Sancai Camel With Musicians in the Style of the Tang Dynasty. 24” H x 15”W x 6” D. This is a funerary piece which would’ve been used in a tomb. This piece is made in the middle of the 20th century in Hong Kong. Sancai is a drip glaze ceramic technique typically using the colors of brown, green and off-white. there is some crazy on the glazed parts of the ceramic. There are no chips. One of the musicians heads has been repaired so please see the last photo for a close-up. This is a stunning piece and would make a great statement in one’s home.
