Acquired at a local estate sale:

A real survivor, a real Sunbeam model T-9 World Fair Design with what appears to be the original cord with a replacement plug . If you\'ve ever tried to repair a bad cord you know the inside of these tend to explode with that white insulation once disturbed. The previous owner has prevented this with electrical tape as seen in pic #13.

Tested, it functions as it should rather well . The last picture shows my breakfast cooked with the selector set on a little over mid point or 60 percent.
