Beautiful vintage Russian Lacquer box. The imagery appears to be a happy horse with a prince as a rider and a maiden in a tent. The piece is signed by the artist and named. The box is hinged and has a lovely golden border that is detailed on all sides. Box measures4 5/8" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/4". The piece is in good condition. No chips, cracks or crazing in the lacquer. Red interior is exceptionally clean. Some minor shelf wear on bottom. Smoke free home.
