Probably, over the years, this tin has held a variety of goodies and keepsakes, since it\'s such a great size and is so lovely. The tin is a matte red and has a fabulous graphic of a spray of white roses on the lid. The metal round box is in good, age-related condition -- the lid has age scuffs -- which, I think, makes it the more endearing.The round tin is approx. 8 1/2\" x 2 1/4\"
