This is a vintage rosary. The centerpiece is Art Deco Era. The Era is typically recognized from about 1919 to about 1939. This rosary appears to be at the later end of the Art Deco Era.
You will receive the exact rosary pictured.The rosary's overall length is 24". The crucifix is 2". The rosary weighs 41.5 grams.
Round, clear art glass beads. About 7mm. All the beads are the same size and shape.Each bead is fully caged. It is difficult to fully examine the beads because of the cages, but they appear to be art glass beads. They are multifaceted with soft lines, as often seen in art glass beads. The drill hole also appears larger; again, this is often seen in art glass beads.
The centerpiece is Art Deco Era. It is Miraculous Medal, silver-tone. There are no marks indicating the country of origin. The crucifix is also silver-tone. There are no marks indicating the country of origin.
The rosary is in very good vintage condition overall. It is 100% complete with all the original beads and all the original cages. It appears to have never undergone repair or replacement. It is fully intact. The details on the centerpiece and crucifix are excellent to very good. Each piece shows some age-related discoloration. The cages show some patina and discoloration, typical for a rosary this age.
