Tabletop mirror by Ron Lee (1947-2017), depicting two clowns in front of a mirror. Signed and dated by the artist. The mirror/figurines sit on an onyx base. An artist, sculptor, and manufacturer for over 45 years, Ron Lee created the world's largest and finest collection of Limited Edition Figurines. Ron was born in Southern California, where he began his career at the ripe old age of 12 by carving and building elaborate ship models. Ron worked with his father and learned the "lost wax" process as a teen. He sculpted and cast wildlife and Western artwork in bronze. His fun-loving nature, love, and passion for the circus led him to create clown figurines, which he is known for worldwide. Ron has created over 5,000 different designs, which also include animated characters. Over 5,000,000 of Ron's creations are in the homes of the most discerning collectors! His excellent selection of limited edition figurines is manufactured in his Burbank, California Studio. Like any other artist, Ron took great pride in his craft and maintained a passion.
