This fabulous Rolls Royce Sports Car was built at the cost of $100,000 in 1934 for King Edward the-VIII the present Duke of Windsor. This car was featured in Life Magazine in 1937 when he sold it for $30,000. The year he abdicated the throne and married Wally Simpson. In 1954 when the car was 20 years old it won the grand prize at the World\'s Motor Sport Show in Madison Square Garden in New York City.

This Rare Round Rolls weighs 7200 pounds and is 22 feet long. The body, taking 4 years to build, is all hand-pounded steel over wood frame, built by Jonckheere of Belgium. The paint consists of 6 lbs. of gold powder with 17 coats of clear lacquer over it. It\'s louvered down the back to give privacy to the occupants as you can\'t see in from the rear but have perfect vision out. It has a tail-fim that\'s used as a stabilizer when the car is traveling at high speed. Under the tail-fin there\'s a very spacious trunk for battery, spare tire, luggage.

Nicknamed the Rare Round Rolls because of its round doors. The win dows go up and down in two sections like a fan. The interior was done by Hooper of London, the famous Coach builders for the Royal Family.

The seats are genuine red and white leather and let down into a bed by releasing the straps on the sides. It has a red velvet ceiling with a sliding sky light roof. The floor is covered with a white fur rug.

The Rolls Royce engine which cost $15,000 new, is a 6 cylinder in 2 blocks with a piston displacement of 468 cubic inches... 41/4\" bore and 52\" stroke. The motor is also equipped with over-head valves and double ignition with 2 spark plugs to each cylinder, one for magneto and one for battery. This develops over 200 horsepower. It has a 4 forward speed transmission which enables the car to obtain speed over 120 MPH. It has power brakes and a 12 volt electrical system. Also a high speed carburetor adjustment on the steering wheel. It\'s the only Rolls Royce ever built with a slanting radiator shell, even the new ones today are built straight up and down. The front bumper weighs 200 pounds. The tires are 700 x 21\" and take 50 lbs. of air.

There has been a great demand to see this fabulous Rolls Royce since it has been featured in Nationwide Magazines and Newspapers, one of the most remarkable and unusual exhibits ever to be placed before the public. This exhibit is on a national tour and has been seen by thousands in various cities and towns.
