Talk about a \"blast from the past\".....WOW.....this is it......takes me back to the 1950\'s at my Grandma\'s HouseGrandma had one just like this in her bathroom back when I was a kidThis is a great find....in excellent overall conditionHamper measures 24 1/2\" tall, 18 1/2\" wide and is 10 1/2\" deep (front to back)When the lid is lifted.....there is the manufacturer\'s decal on the bottom of the lid...left corner....MANUFACTURERS OFQUALITY RED-MAN BASKETSAlso.....embossed into the bottom of the lid.....in the middle is....REDMONPERU, IND.Material is a very heavy vinyl like material that covers 3 sides and the top...top has slight amount of paddingBack of hamper is a painted \"peg board\" with holes to allow air circulationTop and bottom edges are trimmed with a rubber \"bumper\" which is fully attached and undamagedTwo half-round rubber \"bumpers\" along front edge that the lid rests on when closedThere are signs of wear, age and use.....primarily the inner portion of the hamperSome water marks on underside of lid, bottom panel and the inner portion of hamper (see pics)Exterior of hamper is in exceptional condition....and is just a stunning pieceThis would make a great display piece, useable daily hamper or addition to a mid-century collection
