Looks to be an old replica. Wooden scabbard is covered with a vinyl leather pattern and has two attachment points with the mum. The blade is aprox 29.5\" long, and the sword is 43\". The weight is aprox. 3.3lbs. At it\'s thickest it is more than 1/4\" thick. The blade has a raised etched pattern. According to a helpful user on Reddit, the blade \"looks like 康正二年元月 to me.It means the first month in 1456\"
