Vintage Red Dietz Comet 8-1/2\" Lantern w/Original Clear Glass Globe Made in USA:

This vintage kerosene lantern comes in good to very good overall condition with a fully intact glass globe, a usable wick, minor soiling from use, and minor finish wear that includes some chipping to the red paint (see pictures).

The lantern is embossed \"Dietz Comet\" on one side of the tank, while the other side and tank cap are marked \"Made in the United States of America\". It is factory painted red, with a clear glass globe. The globe is embossed \"H-7, Dietz, Syracuse N.Y. U.S.A.\" on one side and \"Comet, Reg\'d. U.S. Pat. Off.\" on the other. It measures approximately 8-1/2\" tall (not counting the handles), and 5-1/2\" wide.
