Vintage Art Deco or Streamline Moderne Styled Red & Black Bakelite Box with Hinged Flip Cover- Sides have a repeating wavy fluted pattern
- Lid features a stylized wave pattern with a water lily
- Original red velvet lining
- Inside of the lid is a repeat of the water lily design with a silver sticker identifying the brand \"Community Plate\"
- Bottom has tiny, molded round \"feet\" in each corner. The word COMMUNITY impressed into the box bottom
Originally would have been used to store some type of Community brand Silverplate produced by the Oneida Community.Dimensions: 6.75\" x 3.25\" x 1.5\".
Condition: Very good vintage used condition. No chips or cracks. A few minor and hard to see scratches. Bottom has multiple scratches and blemishes/scars. Smoke and pet free home.
