This is a rare original 1958 Souvenir Program for THE RINGLING BROS BARNUM & BAILEY CIRCUS, 88TH SEASON OF THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH....it features a front cover illustration by artist BOMAR, and the interior includes many photo illustrations from the show\'s acts, featuring a variety of clowns, trapeze performers, elephants, beautiful and exotic looking girls as jugglers and aerialists, plus tigers, rock \'n\' roll chimps, horses, and an introduction by John Ringling North. The Program is softbound, with a full page Chesterfield Tobacco Cigarettes advertisement on the back cover, and an inside front cover ad for Tootsie Roll with a giraffe cartoon, in generally very poor condition with good color throughout, and the original staples of the binding have rusted out and stained the pages. Measures approximately 9\" x 12\" overall and is 20 pages plus covers, showing edge wear, corner bumps, a bit of light wrinkling and small creases to the back cover corners and wear from handling.
