This is a unique and rare vintage storage basket handmade by Mrs. Jeff Abbey, a Native American artisan from the Coushatta tribe in Louisiana. The basket features a lid and is perfect for storing. The intricate design and attention to detail make this basket a valuable addition to any collection. It measures 10\" tall and 10\" wide. It has a dyed raffia brown and orange design on the sides. Reminds me of an eye. Baskets of this size are harder to find. It still has original attached tag that reads: Indian Craft Koasati also known as Coushatta Indian Elton Louisiana artisan Mrs. Jeff Abbey. This basket is in very good condition.

The provenance of this basket is with the Koasati Sovereign Nation and it was made in the United States.
