Vintage 1937 D. S. Company Laboratory Milk Wooden Crate Box with Metal Liner.
Offering this rare vintage 1937 D. S. Company Laboratory Milk Wooden Crate Box with Metal Liner. This sturdy wooden box has a removable galvanized metal liner for holding 2 containers. The lid has two metal hinges, a lockable latch with original leather latch keep, and a metal handle with \"D. S. CO/ 5\", markings. The front of the box is marked \"???? Laboratory/ 1937 ???\", possibly \"Dairy Laboratory\". There is an original owner tag attached to the handle. I have not been able to find any other similar sample boxes like this one. Item does not include any bottles. Please see pictures for the actual condition of this unique laboratory sample box.
Measures approximately 11 1/2\" tall x 10\" wide x 6\" deep.
