This vase/ewer is a reproduction of the exact archaich color, hand-made, hand-painted in Athens, Greece by/at Loucas’s Pottery. I have searched several different site to get information about this vase. Hard to find. Rare piece. Geometric designs with Antelopes/impalas running/jumping. The research state the “ Archaich Colour” , was from a crystal named hematitis, pulverized and when fired in kiln and oxygen provided it turned this orange/brown color back in 800 bc-480 bc. Interesting. Reproduction. Very nice piece. No chips, pitting, chigger bites, or cracks. Excellent and mint condition. Smoke and pet free home.
