Vintage Otagiri Mug Mallard Duck in Relief | Hand painted coffee cup c. 1980’s:

This unique Otagiri mug is a must have for any waterfowler or outdoorsman. It features a raised hand painted scene depicting a mallard taking flight with cattail in the background. The opposite side of the mug features a raised scene of cattail in the same tan color as the rest of the cup. The glazing has a lovely slight greenish tint to it that enhances the overall appearance.

As with any hand crafted ceramic there is some natural imperfections in the glazing and the cup itself that is pictured. There are also a couple of very small chips on the base of the cup and on end of tail as seen in the photo.
