This Original Vintage Litho Calendar Print Illustration by Frances Tipton Hunter is a humorous find for collectors of ART paper memorabilia.
The Lithograph is on a thicker glossy paper and numbered 1417 "The Babysitter" U.I. Co., N. Y. Made in U.S.A. Measuring at 17"x12", this original art piece is in Mint condition.
Features a brooding boy "baby sitting" his younger brother, all the while thinking about missing his baseball time with friends. It is a terrific illustration to add to any collection and Avery special gift for a special someone.
The vibrant colors and intricate details show his loyal spaniel by his side, and his glove and catchers mitt with baseball, along with crying toddler with milk bottle half full and Raggedy Ann and Teddy Bear on blanket. This lovingly charming illustration truly brings to life the childhood times of the 1940s and 1950s.
