Vintage One of a Kind 16" Hippie Denim Jeans Purse Handmade from Levis 560 Jeans:

This is a Vintage One-of-a-Kind Hippie Style Denim Jeans Purse.

There are several labels on the bag as seen including a Levis 560 jeans label. The bag is obviously handmade from a used pair of jeans. Based on the buckle on the strap and the Levis label, my assumption is that the bag was made from a very well used pair or Levis 560 overalls.

The bottom of the bag is about16 1/2" wide, 13" wide across the top, and" tall. The shoulder strap is 39" long.

The bag appears to have been machine sewn. One of the photos shows the bag turned inside out. The bag has a single large compartment, with no divisions nor pockets on either the inside or the outside.

The bag is an estate piece that we have had for quite some time, and we do not know the age specifically, but it is thought to be old enough to be vintage, perhaps a Mid Century piece circa 1960s-1970s.

Condition:

Since the bag is made from a well worn pair of Levis, there is quite a bit wear and a few very light stains as seen. Any such issues appear to be from the state of the jeans when the bag was made, and there is no apparent damage or additional condition issues with the bag subsequent to the creation of the purse.
