This electric typewriter does turn on and should work but the rubber band that drives the electric keys has disintegrated and needs to be replaced. The manual parts all seem to work. Therefore you are buying it in as is condition. If I don\'t find a buyer and it is reasonable for me to have the band replaced, I will, and then I will relist with an adjusted price. It could use a light cleaning as it has gathered some dust from many years in storage but it looks visually very nice. The plastic carrying and storage case is in good condition. This relic is heavy, weighing almost 23 pounds unpacked. Posted with Mobile
