VERY HARD TO FIND NOT ALL BEAT TO DEATH…THIS AXE DOES HAVE A CRACK BUT AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM WHAT IT IS IN ITS ORIGINAL STATE…as you can see it’s not been used very much and both sides have great lettering and detail (first 2 pictures were taken with a little powder just to show the lettering more clearly)… this axe will clean up better than pictured and would be a great addition to any collection. Look at all pictures before offerding. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
If you’re an axe collector you know as well as I do these don’t come on the market very often…this was a barn find in New Hampshire from an early farmhouse near the Connecticut River Vally.
