ITEM: (1) Vintage writing pad with carbon copy paper made for F.M. & B.F. Arritt from Arritts, Virginia. They were a general merchandise store \"Highest price paid for country produce.\"

There is no Arritts, Virginia today, but it was located in Alleghany County. The Arritt surname is found all over the state, but mostly in Covington, Virginia, which is also in Alleghany County. There is an Arritt Cemetery as well.

On the 2nd page of the pad are a lot of names

This is a duplicating pad made by the McCaskey Continuos Account duplicating system. There is a page of black copy paper under each sheet to make duplicates. The McCaskey Register Company was located in Alliance, Ohio
