The fabrics used are a variety of stripes, shirting and stripes. A few blocks are repeated in the top.
Quilt top is displayed on a king-size bedThis quilt top is machine-stitched.
Quilt measures approximately 60\" x 73\". The completed Ohio Star is approximately 13\" and consists of 9- 4.5\" blocks.
There are 20 Ohio Star blocksI would date the fabric in quilt top ca. 1940/1950.One border (see photos) is damaged. There are stains, a few holes, and a separation of the seams (I believe due to age and storage).This item has been stored for many years and does have a \"storage odor\". No strong odors.
