GRANITE WEAVE Short floats in a seemingly random pattern creating a pebbled surface. Granite weave is not one of the basic weaves but rather a crepe texture achieved through the weaving process. Granite weave may be made in any of the basic weaves. This fabric is a deep, rich indigo / navy blue color.
This is a very lovely vintage fabric. It has a nice sheen which is difficult to capture in the photos. It is a deep, rich, navy blue. Hard to capture the photos.
Burn test indicates its rayon. There is no polyester.
