Being offered is a vintage, Navajo Indian made doll. The doll is crafted from leather, felt, beads, horsehair, and coral stone. The dolls hair is horsehair, the eyes, nose, and mouth are made of coral stone, and there are decorative glass beads in places on the doll, the main body is crated from a smooth tanned leather, and the shirt is made of rough leather with hand painted stars. The skirt is made of a felt material. The doll does show age and wearing. The leather portions show stains and soiling in places. There is a feather on the back of the head and looks like most of the horsehair remains intact. The seams on the leather body portion look intact with no rips or tears. The doll is approx. 12\" tall by 7 1/2\" wide front view and 2\" wide side view.I am not sure how to grade something like this so have takenclose-up pics to help assess the items condition, what you see is what you get.
