This set features a wonderful vintage coasters and drink stirrers set – the Natural Leaf Coaster-Mixer Ensemble. Each ensemble consists of a large realistic looking rubber leaf coaster and a hard plastic twig-shaped drink stirrer. Included are eight 8” long leaf coasters – simulated leaves from the hevea-brasiliensis tree, according to the package. There are also six 8” long twig mixers. The set fits nicely into a leather-look book style box marked “Natural Elegance by Irving Stone” on the front. Inside it’s gold and has details about the coasters and stirrers on the left (non-sliding, non-sweating, non-marring, not affected by alcohol, cold or heat). Made by J & S Products Co, with an old-style Chicago 25 address, so this was made in the 1950’s or early 1960’s. All pieces are in good condition with some minor expected wear – several stirrers have small whitish marks, and box shows a bit of wear as shown in the photos.
