These 3 figurines are simply adorable singing theirHeavenly praises. Napcoware, Japan, fromthe 1950s (maybe '58), measuring approximately 4.5” tall.The brown gowns are priceless with polka dots in different colors andshades. Each angel has a lovely halo whichadds to the cuteness. Some say they arechoir boys, but I think some look like little girls, too. Difficult to say. Either way their facial expressions aresweetness.

In this set of 3 angels, 2 are holding their hands out, together,looking upward as if sending glory to God as they sing, and the other has prayinghands with eyes closed. On the bottom you will see R3258 and the Napcoware foiled tag on 2 and the other has a Woods Drug Store price tag selling for79 cents, andwhat looks like C3258. I wondered what was under the price tag, but did not want to remove it. The silver copywrite foiled tag says National Potteries Co. Cleveland, O., made in Japan.I discovered Napcoware is also known asNational Potteries Corporation, hence the name Napco, established in 1938 in Bedford Ohio. Like many others of that time, they sourced their production overseas.

This is an exceptional addition either year ‘round or tosave for your Christmas display. I am sellingat a Christmas in July price!

One angel with hands outward has a discolored cheek andnose. This is most likely a blemish in the actualpainting, otherwise there would be more fading and there is not. As in any hand painted item there are manydifferences from one figurine to another, including skin tone, color ofclothes, facial expressions, eyes, lashes, lips, hair color, etc. I find it fascinating to look at each uniqueness.

Please note. Theseitems are in great vintage condition. Thereare no scratches, chips, or repairs.There is minor crazing, but you need to expand pics to see. They are hand painted so there may be somefading or imperfections,as noted above. Please reviewthe pictures with care. I am happy to sendadditional ones if needed.All sizes areapproximate. I only clean the figurineswith a feather duster. I do not wish todamage these treasures, so I leave that up to you. Packaged forsafekeeping.
