This is a truly unique mid-century modern brutalist style high gloss, high relief ceramic pottery planter made in Japan.
It has the numbered stamp on the bottom as well as remnants of the original tag.
There are a couple of chips and missing paint, but very few and none on the rim which is remarkable for a planter of this vintage.
This planter was in regular use, and it did require quite a bit of cleaning to get it to this sellable condition.
You won't find anything like this in stores today!
