*Vintage* Mountain Quartz Japan Folding Screen Table Clock - With stunning inlaid/printed traditional Japanese scene. Made In Japan - Circa 1960\'s/70\'s. This simply beautiful folding clock is in excellent, pretty much display only condition. It has only ever been used as a display piece. It has no chips, cracks, major scratches, stains, odours, colour/pattern wear or fading or any damage to the movement of the clock. The clock is battery (AA) Powered and has been carefully checked and works perfectly. There is one very slight scratch mark at the top of the piece - along the folding edge ( Please See Photo) Any slight imperfection is small, hardly noticeable and in no way detracts from the collectability, loveliness and vintage/retro charm of this beautiful piece.
The folding screen clock is made from a plastic feeling material. The screens are highly glossy and reflective. They showcase a charming scene from a traditional Japanese village, people walking to a temple with a cart - surrounded by flowers, leaves and clouds. In shades of gold, red, bronze and purple. The clock face sits on the left side - It is surrounded by a gold plastic trim and has gold metal hands. The movement and battery case on the back behind the movement has \"SKP Jewels JAPAN\" .
This is truly a rarer and hard to find piece. It is absolutely stunning, and would look superb in any home or office!
