This is a wonderful ceramic monkey figurine that is lying on its back and holding up a woven bowl on its feet. The monkey is wearing nothing and is wonderfully detailed. It has realistic muscle features. The bowl is painted yellow on the outside and white inside. The piece weighs about 3 pounds and 1 ounce and measures approximately 9 inches tall, 9 inches long, and 7 inches wide. Bowl measures 6 inches in diameter. There are markings at the bottom in brown, “made in Italy”
