Vintage Miniature Acoma Storyteller Holding a Drum and Two Children We purchased this small Storyteller man holding a drum and two children from the artisan in the mid-1970s atop Acoma’s “Sky City.” It is signed “LJ”- I’m sorry but I don’t recall the maker’s full name. The backside shows that the drummer is wearing a concho belt and has his hair tied in a traditional chonga. He appears to be drumming and singing. One child is holding his ears while the other child holds a small pet. We are selling our large home and moving into a retirement community’s small apartment, so we no longer have room for our art treasures.
