These small, hand painted vases are of unknown origin. They appear to be some kind of Egyptian or Middle Eastern theme but really, I have no idea. They came from my Mother\'s estate and I don\'t know where she got them. They appear to be hand painted and both have unreadable stamps or markings on the bottom.The larger vase is about 5 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide. It does have a chip on the bottom, see photos. It also has some tiny spots where the paint has been chipped off.
The smaller vase is about 3 1/4 inches high and about 2 1/4 inches wide.Both have fairly intricate scenes painted on them. The large one looks to have a musician playing some kind of harp on one side.
The small one has what looks like musicians on one side and maybe a battle scene on the other? hard to tell.
