Beautiful ceramic tile attributed to French artist Felix Tissot (1909-1989). Tissot moved to Mexico in the 1950s where he created a line of ceramics called \"Fantasia.\" Inspired by motifs in Mexican artwork from the 1930-40s, itincludeddishware, tilesand otherdecorative items that featured lots of delicate flora and fauna. This tile is glossy and in excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Tissot normally pencil-signed on the back. This tile is not signed. It measures 8\" x 8\" and is just under 1/2\" thick.
