Vintage 1940-50s McCoy art pottery brown drip glazed stamped bottom USA. Large size popular brown drip glazed donkey planter. Stamped mark on the bottom of the front legs. Good early vintage condition with no chip, cracks or crazing in the glaze, there is a small white glaze spot on the back foot area that may appear to be a small flea bite but it a spot of white glaze, and a small spot of missing glaze on one ear. (see photos for details) It has been used in past decades as a planter and there is a small amount of calcium scale spotting on the interior top inside edge. Early midcentury style planter bowl collectable art pottery display. A little expected unglazed bottom aging.
