Vintage Manning Bowman Cocktail Mixer and matching Ice Bucket~ Barware:

A very nice pair of vintage, mid-century, American barware from Meriden Ct.
They are in good to very good condition. The wood handles and knobs are in excellent condition. The metal has some oxidation and light scratches, as would be expected from something produced before WW2. There are no dings or dents.
**The cocktail mixer is missing the wooden spout stopper.
The cocktail mixer stands 12” tall and is approximately 6 3/4” wide from handle to spout. The base has a diameter of 4.25”. The top is a tight fit but comes off. The inside is in very good Condition. Again, the piece shows its age with light scratches and oxidation but No dents. Beautiful mid-century modern design and an all wood handle which differentiates it from several others available for sale. Makers mark is etched on the bottom.
The matching Ice bucket stands 5 3/4” high and has a 5.5” diameter. Matching colored wood handles. A 6 ring design towards the bottom. Light scratches and some discoloration as well as oxidation throughout. Unsure if a nice polish can remove some of it but it would bring out a nice shine for sure.
Manning Bowman was formed in 1849 in Meriden CT. It was sold in 1945, shortly after WW2. After changing hands a couple of times, it is now known as Toastmaster.
American Pieces like this are becoming harder To find, especially a set. Some are making their way into museums while most are in home bars and private collections.
A very nice set for the collector, not perfect, but full of history and character.
